Holland Killa began its musical life as an inside joke between me and my talented friend Mella. See, the basic ‘joke’ is that Mella has been dumped by her long time music producer ‘Holland’ and has decided to seek revenge by guest appearing on a ‘killa’ track made by yours truly. That’s the basis for the songs fictional lyrics.
None of that matters though, because what we’ve created here in a fun, fast-paced Vocal House jam that fans of the genre should enjoy, regardless of story line. In fact, I enjoyed the track so much I went back and made a chilled-out ambient mix sprinkled with drops of piano.
Whichever mix you chose, please turn it up and enjoy!
I’m extremely excited because this is on its way to my studio. Native Instruments Maschine Groove Production Studio. Maschine will be the centerpiece of my musical productions going forward along with Logic Studio.
I’m looking forward to creating some cutting edge jams with this thing. To see it in action, check the vids on YouTube.
Now available as an MP3 download via Amazon.com, the epic cinematic-electronic track ‘U.R.’ featuring Mella on vocals. An instrumental mix is also available for your listening pleasure.

Mazarati were a Minneapolis-based funk/rock band put together and produced by former Prince & The Revolution bassist Mark Brown. Stoke is a Funk joint from their self-titled debut album and it’s a JAM. You cannot listen to it at low volume people. Seriously. You see, while Minneapolis Funk (popularized by Prince) was designed for the hot n sweaty dance floors of the 80s, it’s just as potent today. Striped down, bare bones minimalistic Funk: where the lyrics don’t matter so long as your booty is shakin.
If you don’t dig it, then you jus cain’t handle the Funk baby.
